Christopher & I went to Sturgeon Bay today to try some fishing. After an hour or two we were finally on to the fish. A huge circle all the way around brought us back by the road, the launch and the fish. I guess we should have turned left from the launch instead of right. Anyway I was able to catch a 64cm pike, the only one of the day. I had decided earlier that I was ( hopefully) going to bring back a pike, clean it and eat it. And so I did. I ended up with two huge filets and cooked one of them. Christopher didn't come for supper but stopped by for a taste. I ended up with eight bones left in the filet, not bad for my first pike filet. The pike was just as good as any other fish I've had.

Just some pictures from Sunday morning and Monday after supper.
I think the falls looks better with less water. I especially like the second one. It was taken from
the middle observation pod on the park side of the falls.

The following pictures of Dade were taken with an 85mm, F1.8 lens.
I really like the blur this lens can create at F 1.8
All were taken at F 1.8 except the third one that was taken at F22.
